Our Story
From Stealing Schnitzels to Saying ‘I Do’
Topaz and Danni first met at the Shabbat dinner table of Limor and Dvir while working/studying at the Technion. Topaz quickly ate the last few schnitzels before Danni even got one and Limor scolded him for it. Just like that, the two became inseparable.
An immediate connection and bond formed that survived 2.5 years of long-distance dating and 10 months stuck apart due to Covid. With the promise of unlimited schnitzels and knafeh, Danni finally moved to Israel so they would never be apart again.
Living in Tel Aviv was a dream, but after 6 years together Topaz knew what he had to do. In December 2023, as soon as he was granted a few days break from army reserves, he hopped on a plane to surprise Danni in the US while she was about to go for a run.
It was at the boardwalk where Topaz asked Danni the question every woman wants to hear while wearing Adidas joggers, “Will you marry me and be mine forever?”
We couldn’t be more excited to share this celebration with our family and friends. May our story show that love will always help us find our way to each other.
